Post Mixing offers mainly consulting services. There are,
however, products from these services. These products are mainly computer programs that help you
complete similar tasks on your own after you have been assisted by Post
Mixing.
- Advanced Tank Volume Calculator
- Yes, it seems that everyone has a tank calculator. Some
are just too simple, consisting merely of the volume of a cylinder
with a flat bottom. This Tank Volume
Calculator is like nothing else on the entire world wide
web. Have a look and see for yourself! [Top

- Mixer/Tank Inventory
- It is interesting just how little we know about our mixing
capabilities and the tanks that hold our products. This inventory
contains all of the important information regarding the
mixers and tanks and the mixing capabilities of them. It also
produces a scale-drawing of the mixer and tank. Click on this
hyperlink to get a better idea of this product. [Top

- Process Specific Programs
- Show me an engineer that doesn't like to do
"what-if" and I'll show you ... What better way to end
your consulting service with Post Mixing than to have a computer
program tailor-made to your project? Together with the Mixer/Tank
Inventory, this program can estimate mixing times, gas dispersion
quality, degree of solids suspension, mass transfer characteristics
and/or more. [Top

- CFD Programming and Outputs
- Computational Fluid
Dynamics is an attempt to
solve the Navier-Stokes equation in mixing tanks. The outputs
from these programs are so pleasing to engineers that they are often
referred to as Colorful Fluid
Dynamics. At
the most recent Mixing Conference (Mixing XIX), CFD was also refered
to as Confusing Fluid
Dynamics. We
use the fastest and most accurate CFD software available (ACUSOLVE) with
an application layer specially made for dynamic mixing in tanks and
pipes and for static mixers in pipes. [Top

Geometrical
influences on local and total mass and heat transfer in an agitated tank
-
This
book is the 343 page doctoral thesis of Thomas Post. The electrochemical
method was used to derive the heat transfer coefficients at the wall of the
tank. 124
different geometries were tested. Impellers included single and dual
Pfaudler impellers with and without D- and F-baffles, single and dual
Rushton Turbines with and without standard baffles, anchors, 1.5 pitch propellers
with and without standard baffles, single and dual 45° pitched bladed turbines (PBT)
with and without standard baffles, and single and dual flat bladed turbines
(paddles without the disk) with 4 or 6 blades and with or without standard
baffles. The effect of the bottom was also studied: dished bottom
(German Klöpperboden (Kloepperboden)) or a flat bottom tank.

The thesis is for sale as a paperback book
for $35.00 excluding any applicable taxes and shipping and handling while
supplies last. If interested please send us an email.
